Back twining in the studio at 🌟
Most of the time we try to hide the places where we add warps, but for this one I'm making a feature of the joins, and including them on the outside of the pod.
I've also chosen to 'show my work' in the crossover base, where usually these stitches would be hidden away.
There is something honest and authentic about this that I really like.
I'm also adding the warps in the same section over and over, so see if I can get a fluid, wave-like effect.
Probably something entirely different will emerge, but that's part of the fun.
This is sea grass, paper twine and sasawashi bamboo yarn.
