This secluded, off-grid stay blends luxury accredited accommodation with a deep respect for nature. Farmer Hosts Louise and David have created a place where ecological farming, conservation and immersive stargazing all come together and so much more.

Guests are invited to soak in the night from stargazing hammocks, unwind in a bath beneath the stars or explore 14 kilometres of trails winding through protected bushland and farmland. Kestrel Nest EcoHut sits along the migration path of the Bogong Moth, which travels over 1,000km to the Snowy Mountains each year. These moths are a vital food source for the endangered Mountain Pygmy Possum as it wakes from hibernation.

Artificial light from cities, towns, and even farmhouses can disorient the moths, putting both species at further risk. By protecting the night sky we’re playing a powerful role in keeping nature’s ancient rhythms alive.
