Celebrating storytelling, talent, and creativity, the 2025 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards were a night to remember, and Show Group was proud to be a sponsor - continuing our 40-year legacy in the industry. With a star-studded lineup of presenters, including Russell Crowe and Henry Cavill, the night honoured the best in Australian film and television. Behind the scenes, we were excited to support the travel for many of the talented nominees and guests attending the event. It was also a privilege to meet some of Australia's best screen talent, including acclaimed comedians Aaron Chen and Tom Gleeson, actor David Wenham, and MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin - plus many more!

The screen industry gathered last night to celebrate an extraordinary year in Australian screen at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards Industry Gala. Boy Swallows Universe led the television winners with six awards, while MAD MAX: FURIOSA and Better Man each claimed five wins in film. Other standout winners included Birdeater (Best Indie Film), Tom Gleeson (Best Comedy Performer), Muster Dogs (Best Direction in Nonfiction Television), and Bluey (Best Original Score in Television). Show Group was proud to support the travel logistics for many of these productions throughout their journey from script to screen. As the celebrations continue, we’re excited to be sponsoring the AACTA Awards Ceremony tomorrow night!

Show Group's Kylie and Lily had the incredible opportunity to attend SXSW Sydney, thanks to an invite from Skye Johnson at IHG Hotels & Resorts. From exploring the immersive IHG Mind Lobby to joining powerhouse voices like Layne Beachley and Holly Ransom in the “Redefining Success: Beyond the 1%” session, it was a week packed with insights and inspiration! The team also caught memorable performances from MulgaBore Hard Rock Band and Jorja Smith, and learned the Dos and Don’ts for touring musicians in "Headbanging the Hard Way.” Thank you to SXSW Sydney for an unforgettable experience!
