I know many of you have enjoyed this absolute legend onboardā€¦

So today I am wishing this talented rockstar, ship husband and best bestie I could ever wish for a very happy belated birthday (my excuse is itā€™s only just your birthday here in the US!)

Every time itā€™s someone specialā€™s birthday he posts a post for them and encourages people to send them some birthday love. Itā€™s that kind of effort that makes HIM extra special. And I thought he deserves some of that love right back.

Itā€™s never easy having your birthday onboard away from family and friendsā€¦(I know that!)

And whether heā€™s improving peopleā€™s lives with his music, kindness or just his contagious postive energy - the world is better place for having him in itā€¦

Today for International Womenā€™s Day, I sat down with Cruise Director Amber on board Carnival Firenze to talk about female leadership at sea.

Amber shares her journey to becoming a Cruise Director with Carnival Cruise Line, her inspiration along the way, and what it takes to lead in an industry that has traditionally been dominated by men.

We talk about confidence, resilience, and the responsibility that comes with being a role model for the next generation of leaders.

It is an honest and thoughtful conversation, and Iā€™m proud to share it today.

Sending fair winds and following seas to Carnival as she begins her big voyage back to Brissie freshly out of dry-dock.

Sheā€™s been many incarnations in her timeā€¦

And sheā€™s packed full of memories. For me and everyone who sailed in her. And now, fresh out of dry dock in Singapore, sheā€™s ready to create some new memories.

I know I have lots of regular cruisers and colleagues on there right nowā€¦and I hope youā€™re loving your cruise!
