[TRAVEL UPDATE] Virgin Australia | Checked Baggage Pricing Update

From 28 October 2026, Virgin Australia will introduce changes to its additional checked baggage pricing.

Most pre-purchased checked baggage fees will increase by $2–$12, while some fees, including baggage purchased at the airport, will remain unchanged.

Travellers are encouraged to review their baggage allowance before flying, as inclusions vary depending on fare type and Velocity Frequent Flyer membership tier.

What a beautiful day to be trackside!

Today we attended the Ladbrokes Spring Racing Carnival Showcase at Doomben, hosted by our partners at Brisbane Racing Club.

With perfect Brisbane weather, great company, plenty of racing insights and some expert tips for the season ahead, it's safe to say Spring Carnival has officially arrived.

The excitement around racing travel is definitely building too. After the success of our sold-out Hong Kong Racing Tour, we're already dreaming about where our next racing adventure could take us... 👀
