Snorkeling at the Tangalooma Wrecks 🤿✨, a pure wonder located right next to Brisbane

Follow the guide (the one in orange : he knows exactly where to go 👀), he’ll take you to the best spots to see all the fish 🐠

Everything’s sorted for you: wetsuit, life jacket, gloves, mask, snorkel, fins ; all in good condition so you can just enjoy 🌊

Easy, fun, and honestly such a cool way to explore this place 🏝️

Best day of our trip, no debate 😭✨

From snorkeling shipwrecks to sandboarding and making our own wraps… this day was just unreal 🌯🏝️
Met the best people, laughed all day, and the vibes were EVERYTHING 🫶

We’re just chilling, making our own wraps (yes, chef 👩‍🍳) and honestly… they’re SO good 🤌
There’s even a gluten-free option so everyone can enjoy 🫶

Between the vibes, the people, and the food… 10/10 experience 💯
Everyone recommends it, and now we get why 😌

The Tangalooma Wrecks, on Moreton Island just off Brisbane, have a pretty unique story 🛥️✨

Between 1963 and 1964, the Queensland Government sank 15 old vessels on purpose to create a safe anchorage for boats and help protect the island from strong waves 🌊

Over time, the wrecks turned into a whole marine ecosystem. Today it’s one of the best snorkelling spots around, with crystal-clear water, loads of fish, turtles… and sometimes even dolphins if you’re lucky 🐠🐢

Kinda crazy how something left behind became one of the coolest and most alive places out here 🤿
