Always wondered how many kilometres you can actually get out of a pair of Thorogood®️ work boots. 🤔🥾

Looking forward to putting a fresh pair to the test in the coming weeks. 👨🏼‍🏭💥

An old timer once told me something that’s always stuck with me:

“If you’re comfortable in the boots you wear all day, every day, that’s one less thing you’ve got to think about — so you can focus on your craft.”

Well… he wasn’t wrong.

Old Ronnie Patch said that to me when I was about 12 years old, sweeping floors around a workshop wearing my old man’s boots, with a couple of pairs of socks stuffed in there to fill the gap between my toes and the end of his old boots. 😂

Funny the things you remember from when you’re a kid.

Fast forward all these years and I’m still chasing good boots, good tools and good workmanship.

Cheers to the old timers who took the time to pass on a bit of wisdom. ❤️

Productive day onsite today. Smashed out another couple of strut braces and even spliced one together for the basement dig-out we’re currently working on.💥

As they say, dirty hands, clean money. I’ll happily roll around in the dirt all day if it means I can provide a better future for the people I love.💥

Keep turning up, keep learning, and keep getting it done. 👨🏼‍🏭💥

Word of advice to all the young bucks out there don’t become a boilermaker/welder listen in class learn as much as you can because knowledge is key and people will pay for that knowledge one day.

Also marry the ass and buy the ti***es best advice old Mario onsite told me today.

The joys of having a red-hot crack at it! There are plenty of ups and downs, but it’s Friday, I’m backing one out and getting ready for one more working day tomorrow. 💥

Then it’s time to catch up on the invoicing and paperwork before doing it all again next week.

If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. 👨🏼‍🏭💥

Crane lacing work is all wrapped up across the jib sections! 💪

This little project was a great learning experience and a real eye-opener. I picked up plenty of new skills and knowledge along the way.

Just one of those days.

Fu***ng smoked the rod bucket 🪣

All the stickers are cooked on it so if you’ve got some cool company stickers or some cool crude stickers sing out!!!!

this bucket 🪣 gets around more then the local bike and has cooler stories to tell 👨🏼‍🏭💥

Getting pretty good at the old crane lacings finding them therapeutic to a degree. Always good bettering an fine tuning your skillz

can say if you need lacings replaced I know a guy ! 😅
