They said I was CRAZY to leave nursing!

I used to save lives.

I was a Deputy Director of Nursing in Sydney and later a FIFO Clinical Nurse Specialist working across remote Australia.

For years, my job was caring for people under pressure, making critical decisions, and helping others through some of the most important moments of their lives.

Today, I’m the captain of Floating Picnic.

Different industry.
Different uniform.
Same passion for people.

I may have traded scrubs for a captain’s hat, but the purpose hasn’t changed.
