Trek 1211: This morning I woke up to photographs taken by Clement Harika whilst out on the Kokoda Trail whch I will now post. Today Jim and Steve will make their way back to Australia following their successful trek across the Kokoda Trail with our KTL boys. Reminder that this was Jim's 4th walk with kTL and from what I have heard, it was at times quite hard so no doubt plenty of stories to tell when back home.

Trek 1211: Trekkers spent last night at Isurava Memorial and should walk out in Kokoda mid afternoon. As soon as I hear from them I will post again. This trek was due to finish yesterday but as Jim and Steve were due to fly back to Australia on the 14th I was asked to delay their flight back to Port Moresby from Popondetta until tomorrow 13th. Air Niugini were contacted and changed their bookings. This allowed them to spend an extra day on the Kokoda Trail. Perhaps the group stopped at Hoi for a swim as they make their way to Kokoda.

Trek 1211: Think today of Jim, Stephen and our KTL staff making their way towards Kokoda and the finish line. Yesterday Jim decided not to go into Myola but Stephen took up the challenge and headed off with some of our boys later returning and spending the night as a group at Dump 1. The plan today is to stop of Isurava Memorial.
