Log Cabin Hotel, Penrith, NSW 📍

Using historical references as creative inspiration, this playspace is a custom-designed masterpiece with a well-loved theme. The client wanted to ensure their newest hotel had plenty to offer its visitors and requested a playspace that referenced the local area while also tying into the pub’s branding.

The outcome? A landmark outdoor playground attracting new visitors and contributing to the growing success of the hotel.

📍Dallas Brooks Community Primary School

Dallas Brooks Community Primary School approached KOMPAN Australia for exciting new playground equipment to enhance their outdoor play area. The aim was to create a space that appealed to children of all ages, especially older primary school pupils, encouraging positive play and peer interaction.

In addition, the school wanted the project to align with their participation in the ResourceSmart Schools Program, ensuring the playground was made using recycled materials.

The outcome?
An exciting pirate ship-themed playground made from sustainable materials. The equipment is made from sustainable materials and offers lots of play value, allowing kids to climb, hang, crawl, slide, and engage in themed role play, giving them the opportunity to become the captain of the ship!

📍 David Lange Park Playground, Māngere New Zealand

A story of collaboration resulting in an iconic play space reflecting community and mana whenua.

This volcano-themed playground in Māngere, South Auckland, tells the story of how the landscape in the region came to be (Te Riri o Mataaho), through oral traditions passed down by generations of local iwi 🌋

KOMPAN helped deliver a truly one-of-a-kind outdoor playground that reflects this important cultural story. Tasked with designing bespoke play panels and playground structures, KOMPAN crafted innovative pieces of equipment directly in our factory, each one tailored to the specific requirements of the design.

In a community that has faced its share of challenges, this new play area has made a brilliant impact. Delivered with Playground People Ltd in partnership with Auckland Council and the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board, the playground has quickly become a landmark attraction.
