🚨 Big changes for anyone travelling to Europe.

The EU has officially begun roll out the Entry/Exit System (EES) — a new way of recording non-EU travellers at the border.

Instead of a passport stamp, your details will be logged digitally with a quick photo (and fingerprints if you’re 12+).

✅ Applies to all non-EU passport holders — Australians, Americans, Brits and more
✅ Covers all short-stay visits (up to 90 days in any 180)
✅ Full roll-out complete by 10 April 2026

You don’t need to pre-register — it will all be done at your first entry into the Schengen area after the start date.

It’s not complicated, but it’s something you should be aware of if you’re planning Europe travel from late 2025 onwards.
