It’s the little things on a rainy Thursday, right? The legends from who roll the big orders for the Island Depot and the Island Bowling Club straight from the truck to the boat every Thursday. It’s the fab Parcel Postie who does the heavy lifting out of his van onto our not-so-dry verandah (and thanks Murphys Law, guaranteeing the biggest delivery days are also the wettest!). But best of all today was the box from China with 703 STAMPS ON IT! AND 157 CANCELLING STAMPS OVER THE TOP! That kept someone very busy for a while over there…

The Riverboat Posties are doing the Sh*tbox Rally again! We’re leaving on May 2 in our trusty Territory 2WD to spend 8 days in the (flooded) desert with 250 other sh*tboxes, raising money for Cancer Council research. We are up to $10,200, aiming for $15k, so EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS (and it's tax deductable..)! Can you help with a couple of bucks? Thanks to everyone who generously donated.
We've cracked the $10k target!
Overall the rally raised over $2.9million for cancer research!!! Wow!

We've hit our target of $10,000 (and we've still got a day to go)! 💕💕

As it stands the current grand total for the Autumn Sh*tbox Rally 2024 is $2,930,000 and counting! This smashes any previous rally record!!!

All money raised goes to the Cancer Council for research into a cure.

Our team from the Riverboat Postman is nearly home!

Well, we are on our long journey home to NSW after completing the latest Sh*tbox Rally (Adelaide to Perth).
We've had a fantastic time but there is a more serious side to this trip. We've all been touched by cancer, whether it be a friend, rello or the next door neighbour.
We have only 2 more days to hit our team target of $10,000 for cancer research!
