Our Operations & Training Manager, Kellie Easterbrook, has just returned from Southern California after being invited to join the Visit California Agent Advisory Council, experiencing destinations first-hand so we can bring real knowledge back to our clients.
The trip began flying United from Brisbane via San Francisco into Los Angeles, with smooth connections showing just how easy California can be to reach from Australia.
West Hollywood was the first stop, staying at Kimpton La Peer Hotel, right in the heart of the action. The first afternoon was spent on a guided hike starting at Griffith Observatory, a great way to shake off the jetlag while taking in views across Los Angeles.
While there, Kellie also toured Mondrian Los Angeles Hotel and The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, visited Universal Studios Hollywood, and explored the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures for a deeper look into the history behind the movie industry.
Next stop… Palm Springs.
