🚨 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 🚨

Bunya Mountains National Park is temporarily 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 to all visitors from March 5th to March 14th, 2025, due to severe weather conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
All camping areas (Dandabah, Westcott, and Burtons Well)
All walking tracks
Day-use areas
Visitor facilities
All internal park roads

𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲:
Expect strong winds, heavy rainfall, and potential flooding.
Avoid travel to the area as roads may become hazardous.
Stay updated with official weather alerts and follow directions from authorities.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Visitors with existing camping bookings are eligible for refunds. Please apply via the online booking service or contact [email protected] for assistance.

𝗧𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 & 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲:
At this stage, the Tavern & General Store remain open to the public. However, in the interest of public and staff safety, we may close if conditions worsen. We will keep you updated on any changes.

Please observe all signage, barriers, and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas. The park will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
