Most people walk the jetty. Some take the train to the end. But only a few ever see what’s waiting below.
Beneath the Busselton Jetty, hidden under the turquoise water, sits an underwater sculpture trail you can only discover by snorkelling or diving. A bronze mermaid, a full-size Southern Right Whale and a replica of the SS Poseidon shipwreck, all slowly becoming part of the reef.
As the days warm up, it’s the perfect time to grab your mask and go looking. Then come home to your chalet, rinse off the salt and let the afternoon drift by.
