To coincide with the Qantas flight sale dates we will be opening bookings through to 31 Jan 2026 the end of this week 😜 ✈️

Did you also know our neighbour busselton beach resort is being renovated and when done we’ll have a new cafe/restaurant really close to us!

Pretty good then we’ll soon have 5 adult micro scooters as well as the existing kids fleet for guest use ….and an ezy roller 🤣 to get you there!

Last week we welcomed our new on-site housekeeping and property manager Tara who lives locally in geographe after moving down with her family a few years back.

Fun fact: when house hunting Tara actually stayed with us as a guest!😛

We received over 75 applications to the school hours friendly role and Tara stood out with her capability, proactivity, conscientiousness and continuous improvement mindset!🤩🤩🤩

Tara and I spent the day together spring cleaning and getting on top of things to continue to improve our service to guests.

We are now fully booked for weekends until May 25 but still have some availability mid week. I’ve also just released July school holidays.

Our story

Lisa (a chartered accountant) and her husband David (an mechanical/fire engineer) now operate Busselton Family Holiday House after Lisa fell in the love with the area whilst training for an half ironman. She brought the house as ‘capital baggage’ into their budding relationship back ten years and which now married includes three young boys aged 6, 4 and 20mths;

David’s love for the area has also blossomed through his holiday home repairs and maintenance ability! but also a move to the South West by his sister Helen, a vet who founded and operates a Veterinary Hospital in the region Vasse Vets. www.vassevets.com.au

Busselton Family Holiday House is a relaxing holiday house sleeping 12 and allowing pets, which is close to the shores of Geographe Bay. 2 mins walk to shops (including IGA, bottle shop, pharmacy & take-aways) and 3 mins walk to sandy beach perfect for young children.

We are fully accredited with Busselton Shire including planning approvals for short term letting (for up to 12 guests, 5 cars parking), a bronze member of Tourism Western Australia and have recently obtained full WA Tourism accreditation, the first standalone house in the area to do so. We are professionally managed on the ground in Busselton by Amber and David at Holiday Homecare & Maintenance and use professional cleaners.
