What I Wish I Knew Before Signing With a Property Manager

Choosing a property manager for your short-term rental can feel simple.

Compare the fees. Look at the services. Sign the agreement.

But there’s a lot more owners should be asking.

A lower management fee doesn’t necessarily mean better value. What matters is what happens after you hand over the keys.

Who answers the phone when a guest has an issue at 10pm?
Who checks the property after a clean?
How is your nightly rate actually being managed?
What happens when something is damaged?
How quickly is maintenance handled?
How often will you hear from your property manager?
And most importantly — who is actually looking after your investment?
