G’day nature lovers 🔥👀🐀

On our Night Vision Walk on 22 May, we had a close encounter with one of the Aussie bush’s most underrated locals — a bush rat! Spotted through our thermal binoculars, this little legend was busy foraging under the cover of darkness. With no torches needed, we could watch its natural behaviour without disturbing a thing.

Seeing the forest light up in thermal is always a thrill — it’s like unlocking a secret world.

G’day nature lovers 🌙🌿

Our Night Vision Walk on the 1st of July was full of sneaky forest activity! With the help of our thermal scopes, we spotted curious bandicoots snuffling through the leaf litter and wallabies quietly grazing in the moonlight. There’s something so special about seeing these shy creatures in their natural habitat, without disturbing them.

Big thanks to the awesome nature nerds who joined me for a night of wild wonders in the rainforest!

G’day nature lovers 🐾🌿

On our Night Vision Walk on the 7th of April, alongside the bandicoot and wallaby, we spotted a tiny native Australian mouse — likely an Antechinus or a bush rat (both often mistaken for mice). These little guys are fast, fluffy, and full of attitude! It’s always a treat to see the lesser-known critters of the Aussie bush going about their nighttime business.

Huge thanks to our fellow nocturnal explorers who helped spot these elusive creatures!

G’day nature lovers 🌿

Tuesday 6 August's Wildlife Safari served up a cracking day with some stunning wildlife encounters! We spotted majestic eastern rosellas showing off their colours, a beautiful Nuthatch kangaroos lounging in the sun, and koalas munching away in the treetops. The flying foxes were busy in their roosts, and a cheeky grey fantail danced around us in the forest.

Always a joy sharing the bush with fellow nature nerds!

G’day nature lovers! 🌿🐨

Our Koala Walk on Monday 4 August was packed with cuteness! We saw a tiny joey peeking out from mum’s pouch, one koala with the most striking blue eyes, another chomping away happily on some juicy eucalyptus leaves—and one cheeky koala even gave us a wave (or a very well-timed stretch)! 😄

Every walk is full of surprises, and these furry locals never disappoint.

G’day nature lovers,

On 29 July, we spent some time with one of the forest’s most important species — Guyung, the Bundjalung name for the flying fox. These native fruit bats play a vital role in keeping the ecosystem healthy by pollinating trees and spreading seeds across the landscape. Without Guyung, many of our forests simply wouldn’t survive. 🦇🌿

We also spotted koalas, a couple of baby marsupials, cheeky galahs, little corellas, thoughtful wallabies, and some theatrical kangaroos putting on a proper show for the camera!

👉 Join us on a Wildlife Safari to meet these amazing species and learn the stories behind them — real wildlife, real connections.
