Cassowary Coast multi day trips are back on the calendar! 🌴 Our 3 and 4 day packages cover the full range of sportfishing here in the tropics. Topwater GTs, queenfish, barra and mangrove jack in the estuaries, inshore reefs and islands, and jungle perch up the rainforest streams. Three completely different fisheries, one trip!
Full packages include guided fishing across river, islands and rainforest, freshly renovated accommodation, and great meals waiting for you back at the lodge every night.

We’re excited to be teaming up with another Eco Certified operator – Liquid Desire to offer multi-day Great Barrier Reef flats fishing trips.

This 55ft sailing catamaran has a shallow draft that allows us to stay positioned inside the lagoon, closer to the flats.

Trips depart from Port Douglas and cater for 1–3 anglers, fishing from our 19ft Sportsman guide boat to access the flats.

Trips are scheduled around optimal tide windows to maximise time wading, targeting permit, GTs and golden trevally.
We already have trips locked in and a small number of additional windows available around Liquid Desire’s schedule.
We share the same environmental ethos and are really looking forward to the trips ahead together.

Two weeks out from the best tides of the year, everything fell apart.

So we grabbed the camera, my only two Canon batteries and the 12wt, and went anyway.

Safe to say they’re enjoying the trip… 🤣

Double hook-up GT and queenfish on the Cassowary Coast and the boys are stoked! This is what a few days fishing the tropical rivers is all about.

We still have some prime dates available for our 2026 Cassowary Coast trips.
