Ok so we have had a couple of people who have written complete bu****it about our tours, we have not done a tour for 2 years and I am looking to do something else.. Anyway good to see we are keeping the retards occupied..😂😂😂

So a quick update ... No the Cape is not open to traffic, local residents only so there are no tours going at this stage... From the Daintree north to Cooktown is all closed off.. Anyone saying they are doing tours is misleading you and ripping you off...

COVID-19 UPDATE
For the people who would have wanted to do a tour this year so far to date it is out of the question. The whole of Cape York is in lockdown no one in or out, this means that if any operator is asking for deposits for tours this year I would be unlikely to hand over any money... There are no group gatherings, All National parks are closed, motorcycle riding in not deemed a essential activity and further more Cape York is closed indefinitely... I do believe there is a tour operator offering discounts if you book a tour for this year, I would advise not to part with any money because they cannot run a tour... Please pass this onto anyone who is wanting to do a ride this year or even a 4x4 trip to Cape York.

Let’s all take out hats off to our Aussie legend, taking out another podium at the Dakar in tough mental and physically challenging conditions. Australia is proud of you Toby.

Such a sad day for Dakar, rider Paulo was tragically involved in a accident, Toby was first on the scene... Thought and prayers to Paulo's family, Toby Price Racing and all the Dakar competitors.. Hits home how dangerous this race is...🙏🙏🙏

Yesterday’s stage was starting well, great pace and feeling good on the bike until the refuel. Paulo took off into the stage about 5 minutes before me and the worst case had happened. I come over a small crest and seen a rider down and was Paulo. Worst fears kicked in cause I knew this one was serious. I called for help ASAP and helped get him on his side (plus more serious checks). Tried calling for more help and by this stage Štefan Svitko (also a champion) had arrived and helping where he could. The first helicopter arrived and was starting to help and as the medical helicopter arrive they were already on CPR and the doctors got to our sides and work all they could. Helping holding drip bags, getting bags of medical equipment and guiding other riders around a bad scene. We all worked as long as we could but there was nothing we could do. I helped assist carrying him to the helicopter as it was the right thing to do. I was first at his side and wanted to be the last to leave.We will miss you’re smile and laughter in the bivouac . My last 250km of special stage was tough, I’m dehydrated from tears. At the moment I’m not even worried about the result, I couldn’t care. Many thoughts with family and friends on this day, we don’t start the rally day 8 for bike #8 in respect to family and friends and the loss of a HERO. Thank you to everyone for the messages of support worldwide, especially Portugal with all the kind things. We are human and this is nothing but just a race, I would give up all my wins to have any of my fellow racing mates back with us.
