**Marine Biologist Wanted**
How would you like to go to The Great Barrier Reef every day and educate people about it in the process?
We are looking for a Marine Biologist to join our fun and friendly team on our daily reef trip vessel Reef Experience!
This exciting job will involve giving a marine biology presentation about The Great Barrier Reef and its’ inhabitants to all passengers during transfer to the reef. With the aid of a slide show you are able to explain to guests how coral reefs work and are formed, answer questions and educate them about the reef’s inhabitants!
You have creative freedom here to add jokes and facts you think people will find interesting.
In the afternoon passengers can sign up for an interactive snorkel tour around the reef with you, where you can go into more detail about different marine life.
The snorkel tour costs extra so you are required to try and up sell this tour and you will make a commission on every person you get to sign up.
You will be required to help the other crew throughout the day with food prep and other boat duties. Hospitality experience is preferred but not necessary as long as you have a fun and positive attitude
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry experience and will look great on any graduate resume!
We do require that everyone has or will obtain the following certifications;
RSA and Food Handling certificates
First Aid CPR and O2 administration
