It has been a little while again guys! Apologies! But it IS time for our SUNDAY SESH with a shout out to a LOCAL MUSO!

This week is the beautiful Sunny Ray! I recently had the absolute pleasure of meeting and hearing this divine woman at Elixir Bar and we can't wait to have her back! Her songs are simply stunning, heart felt and soul touching.

Here is a little something about her:

Sunny Ray grew up on the rural west coast of Auckland, New Zealand. She began writing songs at the tender age of 14 and soon after was performing on stage. She used her musical passion to sustain herself while travelling 19 countries. Travelling influenced her style and encourage her to be multi-lingual in her performance.

Sunny Ray creates soul sustaining heartfelt music to sooth and inspire. Filled with truth, beauty and courage that casts a vision bigger than a lifetime. Her smooth soul/folk/roots style and unique voice and message, is a catalyst for change and emotional healing.

She recently record her second Album "Of Womb and Will" and she has now relocated to Cairns, Australia. Sunny recently completed a tour of the Tablelands FNQ.

2018 is a year of promise with upcoming performances at a number of Australian festivals including Sprout Festival, Kuranda Roots, Townsville cultural festival, Coalescence, Tropical bloom, and more to be announced.

This man!!!! Known by so many lucky people, Hack brings that extra spice into your life! He has a beautiful wife and kids who also contribute creatively to our music scene with Drum ∞ Drum ∞ is a not-for-profit Japanese Drum Taiko and percussion team, established in 2016. "Mugendai"="Infinity". Hack is huge part of @ Elixir Tapas Bar, playing weekly with the blues boys, keeping your feet tapping & faces smiling...

It's time for our Sunday Sesh! . . .

"Out of the depths of Western Queensland a new rock band had emerged. Their name... VENICE ON FIRE.

Citing the likes of Violent Soho, The Smashing Pumpkins and Rise Against as influences, Venice On Fire is made up of:
Tom Gillespie - guitar, vocals
Jarrod Hall - bass, vocals
Darcy Cavanough - Drums

Formed in the rural Queensland town of Roma in late 2014 the band burst onto the scene in a big way with their debut EP "Home" in early 2016. Now over a year later the boys are kicking it up a notch yet again with their debut album "Tempt A Saint" released in June 2017.
The band has also left their beloved home of Roma, making Toowoomba their new base of operations. Venice On Fire are a guaranteed fun time who love to make music their way."

She is an op shop queen. . .
