SWANSONG

Grateful to be the last ever tour for Wayne and the golf rounds crew.

All communication and logistics were smooth and punctual. We even received a refund for green fees on one member who had to abort the trip 2 days early.

We also had a flight delayed that would have caused a missed tee time but Wayne was reachable and quickly rebooked any required amendments.

If retirement causes boredom, I’d happily recommend Golf Rounds for any future travelers.

BUSINESS CLOSURE

As of June 30th 2025, Golf Rounds Australia will transition into Retirement.

We thank all our customers for allowing us the privilege to arrange your Golf Getaways since 2015.

It has been our pleasure.

We are now moving to position whereby we can Golf and Beach ourselves.

What does this mean to you.

1. No new Golf Getaway Bookings will be commenced from 24th June 2025
2. All existing Bookings will be completed with our usual Professionalism
3.All Business-related emails, such as ongoing Accounts etc, will be finalised as usual.

We will monitor this Inbox over the next 12 months and respond as required.

GOLD COAST TRIP

Just want to say a massive thank you to you & your team.
Our whole crew of 28 from Vic had a great time up on the Gold Coast.
Everything went so smoothly from flights, bus transfers to Accommodation.

The golf course’s were simply amazing & we felt very welcome at each course.

Royal pines other than what we touched on phone in regards with the hydrate bar booking Royal pines were great, we had a good night there on the Friday night in the Tee’s clubhouse, Saturday we made other arrangements and went to Emerald lakes g clubhouse where there was a Sports bar & it was a fantastic night I would recommend it for larger groups.
The Buffet breakfast at Royal pines is one of the best!!

This is our third trip with your company it definitely won’t be our last, Thanks again.

Wayne

Safely back from another incredible few days on King Island.

We had difficult wind the entire trip but the sun was mostly out, the courses and hospitality were exceptional. It felt like Millionaires golf... my dad has played most of the top links courses around the UK and Ireland and said Cape Wickham was as good, if not better.

All bookings and transfers were as seamless as usual too - thanks again for your help and organising such a great trip for us.

Hopefully speak soon again when I'm ready to organise my next trip :-)

King Island-Barnbougle Feedback from a Group from the USA.

Hi Wayne, thanks for organizing our trip -- it was memorable, we had great weather, and overall we and our wives had a wonderful time. Every aspect of the logistics went smoothly including delivering the luggage to our hotel for his trip to Sydney.

Overall great itinerary. Given that we had to stay near Ocean Dunes on King Island, 18 - 36 - 18 with Cape Wickham in the middle made a lot of sense.

King Island:
.
* Cape Wickham food at both lunch and dinner was outstanding. Wonderful seafood and fish & chips.

* Both courses in excellent condition and better than Tasmania in our opinion -- Cape Wickham #1 and Ocean Dunes #2; very good hospitality from the staff - Both Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes rival any courses at Bandon Dunes (for Americans this is the premier links venue), for Canadians their premier links venue is Cabot Links in Nova Scotia) and both courses were on par with those.
* Sharp Air did weigh our luggage and even though we were over the 15/6 kg by a few kilos they ultimately did not say anything even though it was a full flight with 19 passengers. We never had to pull the "international traveler" card.

Tasmania (Barnbougle)

* Rooms and food were very nice there!
* Both courses in excellent condition and very good experience with our caddies
* We had a flat tire upon arriving to our car in the Barnbougle parking lot and both the head pro (Adam?) and our caddie jumped in to help and we were on our way with only a slight delay

P.S. David ended up playing one more round at Port Fairy Golf Links which ended up being my third favorite of the 5 courses we played. The ocean holes #12 thru #16 were truly stunning. Unbelievable for a $59 AUD course.

Quentin and his group headed to Barnbougle mid May and were blessed with amazing weather. The Group also took it up a level staying in one of Barnbougles 4BR Luxury Villas

Wayne and his Group returned from Queensland for their 2nd Barnbougle-King Island Golf Trip.

The Group stayed at both Lost Farm at Barnbougle and took it up a level staying at Turnstone Beach House on King Island. They could not speak highly enough of the luxury on offer at Turnstone.

They played the traditional 4 Courses and threw in a Round at the new Barnbougle Bougle Run a fun mix of primarily Par 3's and 3 Par 4's. They were blown away by the experience offered at Bougle Run.

We enjoyed working with the Group to meet their needs and finished it with a Limousine Transfer from Essendon to Tullamarine. to catch their Flight back to Brisbane.

We had some awesome weather...was a bit blowy at Ocean Dunes but beautiful at Cape Wickham.
