REMARKABLE ADELAIDE TO KANGAROO WITH AAT KINGS

Recently, I was fortunate enough to win a place on a familiarisation of Kangaroo Island with AAT Kings.

I had a spectacular four days exploring the rugged, dramatic landscapes of the southern coastline, visiting the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, having a drinking at Kangaroo Island Brewery and learning about the history of Kangaroo Island Wool!

We were off to a great start when the ferry was cancelled due to rough seas and AAT Kings immediately accommodated our group by booking us all on a Qantas flight to Kangaroo Island later that afternoon!

Our tour director and driver were a fantastic team, working together to entertain and educate us.

We stayed at Seafront Hotel Kangaroo Island, Penneshaw for one night - comfortable rooms, great breakfast and service!

Aurora Ozone Hotel accommodated us the following two nights, which was superb! With dinners and breakfast, it was a real treat!

More highlights included Seal Bay, seeing the koalas and bringing home a delicious jar of the Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Company honey! I also went to the Islander Estate Vineyards and had a fantastic wine tasting experience!

I am very keen to go back to see everything I missed, there is so much to see and do there!

I loved it! What a wonderful place!

Thank you Reef House, Palm Cove for a wonderful five days enjoying your fabulous facilities, delicious food, your amazing staff, an incredibly relaxing spa experience and all those special little touches you provide to make one’s stay memorable in a beautiful location!

Beautiful Buenos Aires! 2 days in this fabulous city, police have a very high presence here, thefts, mugging commonplace. If you go out don’t wear any jewellery and leave passports and valuables in safe! It has great history and people have been friendly!

We spent 5 hours wandering around Port Stanley’s streets. This place has a very British feel to it, people are friendly, weather was very changeable from sunny to rainy and windy and cool but really enjoyed the day!! Had fish & chips in a delightful cafe and browsed all the stores , even bought a few items for our darlings back home!
