Well we have had over a metre of snow in Chamonix since Friday and all the resorts are frantically preparing to open a lot more lifts and runs. Best start to the season for many years.

Yesterday Grand Montets had to be shut at lunch time due the risk of Avalanche, they had that much snow. All night long the Avalanche guns have been in action.
