FilACT is continuing our fundraising drive for our kababayans in Cebu who were affected by Typhoon Tino. Many families are still recovering, and every little bit helps. 🙏

We are also collecting goods) with drop-off points in Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, and Queanbeyan.

Donations will be accepted until the end of November for shipment to Cebu in December 2025. 📦

Welcome to Bayanihan Box – Bonner, a Filipino-inspired community sharing space in Bonner, ACT. This initiative was born out of love, sustainability, and the true spirit of bayanihan — helping each other, one item at a time.

Here, you’ll find pre-loved items like clothes, toys, books, shoes, kitchenware, and bric-a-brac — all still in good condition and ready for a second life. These goods are collected from removal jobs and generous community donations, so nothing goes to waste.

📦 This space especially welcomes new Filipino migrants who are still settling in Canberra and kababayans who need to fill their balikbayan boxes. You’re welcome to take what you need — otherwise, big items like tables, ovens, and other household goods may unfortunately end up in the tip or Goodies Junction.

MY FIRST OFFICIAL TRAVELLING WITH A DIFFERENCE VLOG #1 IS HERE! Still crude but hope to improve with your gentle feedback.

Thanks to all my dear family, relatives, bros and sis and friends for attending my PART 2: Golden 50th Milestone Party last Saturday, 28 January in Canberra.

I was truly overwhelmed with your singing and dancing talents, helping and assisting with decorations, cooking Delikase delicious food and just being there to catch, chill and catch up with old and new friends.

And most importantly, with your cash gifts and donations, we RAISED AUD$2,000++ to be given to charities featured in my VLOG!

I am 50 today and found a new mission/passion in life - Travelling with a Difference. Travelling makes a difference to me now as aside from doing it for pleasure, I can also share my blessings by featuring charities and community groups where people can help. Let's show the other side of the world and difficult realities of life. Not all travels are fun and beautiful. It's time to GIVE BACK!
