𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 is continuing delivery of staged upgrade works at 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀, helping transform the precinct into a safer, more accessible and more functional community hub for Canberra’s growing population.

Works currently underway include stormwater infrastructure upgrades, pavement reconstruction, underground electrical and communication services, concrete works, landscaping preparation and public realm improvements throughout the precinct.

As part of the project approach, existing materials onsite are also being reused and repurposed where practical, helping reduce waste and support more sustainable construction outcomes throughout delivery.

Delivering upgrades in an active urban environment requires careful staging, stakeholder coordination and ongoing management of live services, pedestrian access and business continuity. Our team continues to work closely with the ACT Government, local businesses and surrounding stakeholders to minimise disruption while keeping construction moving safely and efficiently.

Construction continues to progress on the new 𝗚𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in Amaroo, a significant community infrastructure project and the first new tennis centre built in Canberra since the 1980s.

Once complete, the facility will provide opportunities for participation at every level, from junior development and community programs through to coaching, competition and social play. The development will feature 10 full-size courts, Hot Shots courts, a modern pavilion, accessible pathways, lighting, landscaping and community spaces designed to support the growing Gungahlin region.

As works advance, the project is steadily taking shape and moving closer to becoming a valuable sporting and recreational hub for the local community.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 is proud to be contributing to a project that will deliver long-term benefits and provide a high-quality destination for tennis and community connection for generations to come.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 is proud to play a key role in the delivery of the new Ngunnawal-themed public park as part of the Acton Waterfront transformation.

Our team is nearing completion of the stormwater infrastructure and foundational works with landscape planting set to begin mid-January. This marks a major step toward realising a culturally significant space that respects Country and invites community connection.

The park will open in stages starting with an interim space in 2025 and expanding into a fully completed landscape by 2028, featuring open green areas, cultural artworks, and two architecturally designed pavilions.
