Not only did he answer every question we had but he had some interesting anecdotes to share which brought all the experiences to life. A great way to get an overview of all the tourist spots and the layout of the city, and you can then do further exploring on your own later. Canberra has so much to offer—a great long weekend getaway—and this tour was just lovely. We can highly recommend it."

Both the old and new Parliaments were very interesting, visiting the senate and house of representatives, and I sat in on a committee meeting of intelligence and security for a while. I also visited Duntroon, the war memorial 5 p.m. service, and many other attractions on our all-day tour. Thanks, Angela, we accomplished what we went to Canberra for pretty much in one day."

Canberra Guided Tours fit the bill admirably, from price to professionalism and knowledge of the city and its history. We were picked up from our accommodation in a small mini-van, and so began our adventure with Danielle (the tour guide) and another four participants. From the peak of Mt. Ainslie with its spectacular view of the city and (the new) Parliament House, downtown to the old Parliament House for a tour (history and inspection of chambers), Q&A time in the House of Representatives, a delicious lunch, and so much more! The tour ended with a very moving tribute to our fallen soldiers at the War Memorial. This tour is highly recommended and great value for money."

We visited five separate wineries and now have a new appreciation for Canberra wines and the district around Bungendore and Murrumbateman. I would highly recommend this company."
