White Spider orchids are now flowering well at Canna Dams. Keen walkers can be rewarded by finding Bee Orchids 1500m East of Canna. The 'driver' of Canna's old car has had a makeover. Best time of the year to visit is now.

Welcome to our 2026 wildflower season. We currently have a sprinkling of most things flowering, for those who know where to find them. Donkey, White Spider, Green Ant, Blue Fairy, Pink Candy, Green Snail, Green-Veined Shell & Lemon Scented Sun Orchids. Hakea, Grevillea, Pimelea, Hibbertia, Dampiera, Firebush, Wattle, Everlastings, Pom Poms etc.
Wreath plants developing, including the pictured 80cm specimen.
Visit our displays & have someone take your photo with our oversize daisy. Camping as usual at Canna Hall, Canna Dam or Old Camp.

As the weather heats up, the only orchids at Canna now are the Donkeys & the Cowslips. Cowslips are expected to finish in a few days. Still lots of Wreaths, Twining Fringed Lily & shrubs to view.

Canna Hall campsite remains popular, as shown here today. Wreaths at Canna are now worth viewing. Take a map from the front of the old shop to find them 2Km & 5Km North on the unsealed but good condition NE Canna Rd.

This new sign is at the Canna Hall campsite, to help visitors find & identify our local orchids. Please help yourself to the matching A4 leaflet to take with you while searching. Thanks to Jessamy Offszanka (JKO Art) for providing the artwork for the icons. Remember that further updated information & maps are still available in front of the old (closed) shop. Very few visitors are making use of it, so are missing out.

Canna Old Camp looking good at the moment. Still plenty of space for more visitors & campers. Cowslips are now starting at the Canna townsite picnic rock area.

Photo of different Spider orchids at Canna Dam. Some Shy Blue orchids are starting to appear, as the Blue Fairies are ending. A few Vanilla Sun Orchids now flowering. A few Sugar Orchids have been spotted. Greenhoods are becoming more difficult to spot, as they age and the green weeds take over. Up to 10 vehicles at Canna Hall campsite overnight now, so the extra 4 x 15amp powerpoints at the Church have been turned on.

There's still room for you at Canna Hall campsite. Self-serve power, or no power. Orchids now starting to flower are Ant, Spider, Snail, Shell, Blue Fairy & Pink Candy. Donkeys are just starting. Lots of Pink & White Everlastings & Yellows just starting. Yellow & White Pom Poms are starting. We still estimate that the best display may be the last week in August, but it always depends on the weather.
