P&O’s sister line, Princess Cruises entered the market in 2002 and has since grown to five year-round home ported ships, and has garnered a loyal following of guests. Known as the resident ‘fun ships’, Carnival Cruise Line launched Carnival Spirit in 2012, and a second ship, Carnival Legend in 2014, after realising the growth potential in the Australian market.
