Lucky me...I was invited to try out Railli Porter's Yurt at the weekend. She is getting it ready to hire out.
It poured a lot of the weekend which was a shame.
Railli is so kind and she offers free camping at her property too.
In Stony Creek Queensland. 9km west of Woodford and 67km north west of Brisbane at the mouth of the Bellthorpe National Park.
So much wildlife plus her curious goats. It was a great way to relax and chill out.
I decided to follow the "road" because a road has to go somewhere right.. after an hour or so coming across a sign saying I was going the opposite way I was wanting to go had to do a 6 point turn on a narrow, muddy mountain track in my little bettle. No wifi, map or water...Thinking it would be much easier in a 4x4... Thinking why do I do these thingsš¤£.
Anyway, went back the way I came to find out it is recommended for 4x4's when I got a map from tourist info.
Woodford had a Sunday market and lovely places to eat.
