Our monthly tour is happening tomorrow Saturday 13th June on the Coffs Coast.

Meet up at Niigi Niigi (Sealy Lookout), walk through Gumbaynggirr Country (Orara East State Forest) with our Eco-Certified Aboriginal guides learning about some of our stories, the use of native plants and finishing at Korora Lookout with a cultural performance from our 'Giingan Yiiliwiyay Girrwaa' dancers.

Our monthly Giingan Gumbaynggirr Tour is happening next Saturday 13th June and there's still time to join us.

Walk with our local Aboriginal guides through the stunning scenery of Gumbaynggirr Country and embark on a captivating journey where stories are written on the very land and seascapes that surround you.

The Giingan Experience is a two-hour interactive afternoon held at "Niigi Niigi" (Sealy Lookout), an important cultural site nestled within the Orara East State Forest . As you wander through the beauty of the forest and the coastline, you'll witness Gumbaynggirr culture through language, story and the use of native plants before experiencing the rhythms of our wajaarr with the 'Giingan Yiiliwiyay Girrwaa' dancers.

Delivered in close partnership with our community and Elders, this is a multi-award-winning experience you won't forget.

“Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan” translates to “Two Path Strong” in the Gumbaynggirr language and thereby sets the goal of our corporation, which is to ensure that our Aboriginal community, and in particular our youth are “two path strong” – strong in culture and strong in education.

Did you know the Garraan.gurr (Grass Tree) has been used by Gumbaynggirr people for thousands of years?

Clark shares how the grass stalk of the Garraan.gurr was used to start fires, one of the many incredible pieces of living knowledge our Eco-certified Aboriginal guides carry and share along the Giingan Gumbaynggirr Cultural Tour.

It's looking like clear skies this weekend, perfect for the Giingan Gumbaynggirr Cultural Tour.

It's a 2.5 hour wander & cultural performance starting from Niigi Niigi (Sealy Lookout) down past and along the Gumgali Track to Korora Lookout. Throughout the walk our Eco-certified Aboriginal Guides will share stories, language & the uses of native plants along the way. At the end of the Gumgali Track you will experience a cultural performance from our 'Giingan Yiiliwiyay Girrwaa' dancers.
