🐋🦈 What do whale sharks do when no one’s watching?

Scientists attached tiny camera tags to the world’s largest fish and captured something never seen before: underwater krill chases from the whale sharks’ own perspective! 🎥🌊

The 24-hour camera tags revealed how these gentle giants hunt below the surface - where humans rarely get to observe - and helped researchers identify 36 distinct whale shark behaviours, creating the most comprehensive behaviour catalogue yet.

These insights aren't just fascinating - they could help scientists understand how whale sharks adapt as climate change alters the availability of their food, supporting efforts to protect this endangered species.
