When visiting Koondrook Wharf, don’t forget to look down. A standout feature is the position of the historic tram turntable leading to the wharf, now transformed into a striking red gum, slate and basalt mural by artists Glenn Romanis and Aunty Esther Kirby, telling the story of Aboriginal inhabitants along the river.
