Have you met Grumpy, the Eastern Long-Necked Turtle at Lake Meran?

Created by artist Moz Moresi and commissioned by the Friends of Lake Meran Foreshore Committee, Grumpy is a steampunk sculpture crafted from an old Wisconsin V4 engine, chain sprockets, gears, gas cylinders, pick heads and a collection of salvaged metal, all expertly welded together to bring this unique character to life.

So, why the name Grumpy?

As Moz explains via his wesbite, "Every morning, without fail, I'd greet him with a 'good morning' as I opened my workshop doors - but he never responded! I figured he must've had terrible sleep every night, so Grumpy he became."
