J O I N I N G F O R C E S

It is with great excitement we inform you of our decision to join the new business venture at Helloworld Travel Colac.

Candice & Georgie Leersen will co-own the new business structure at Helloworld Travel Colac and will be supported by the amazing Kirralee Evans and Caitlin Serle.

This means, as of the 01 September 2022 Otway Travel & Cruise P/L will close its doors and Candice will relocate to 126 Murray St.

Please note that Candice will be on leave (exploring Europe!) the first two weeks of September and will officially start at Helloworld Travel Colac on Monday 19 September.

Thank you for all of your support since opening our doors 1 July 2019 and Candice cannot wait to continue organising your trips from her new desk!

The office will be closed this week whilst we enjoy a little bit of downtime after a crazy past two years.

Emails will be monitored during this time with urgent matters only being dealt with until we return Tuesday 2 August.

H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y T O U S

Thank you to everyone for their support since we opened the doors on this day three years ago, it has certainly been a wild ride and one we could never have imagined!

The last two years in particular have been incredibly difficult for all aspects of our beloved travel industry and we are so excited to see faces through the door again, share in your excitement of planning and booking then hearing all of your tales upon your return.

Onwards and upwards from here, travel is back!

P A S S P O R T

Is you passport due for renewal within the next 6 months? Do you have plans to travel internationally at all this year?

If the answer is yes to both of these questions we would strongly recommend you get your renewal/application lodged now.

The passport office has been inundated with applications resulting in processing times completely blowing out.

Do not take the risk, get it done early and our hot tip…pay the express fee.

We are off to the Gold Coast for our first conference in over two years!

It is going to be a jam packed couple of days with lots of supplier updates. We cannot wait to get back and share all that we will learn!

C R U I S I N G I S B A C K

You heard right, cruising is finally back in Australian waters and we could not be more excited!

With all of the old favourites due to return such as Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises and P&O over the next 18 month or so we will also have some new cruise lines never before seen in Australia such as Virgin Voyages.

If you would like to cruise either here in Australia or overseas please get in contact, we have cruise both on oceans and rivers with extensive training and many ship inspections under our belt.

Finally cruising here in Australia is making a comeback! The Australian Government announced last week that the current ban is due to end next month which is amazing news for the travel and cruise industry.

Candice has been on several cruises across a number of different cruise companies as well as inspecting many ships over the years so she is most certainly your go to girl for booking a cruise...and most importantly, ensuring you book the correct s**t for your needs.
