Stuck for what to do with the kids during the school holidays? Well, here are a few ideas 😊

1. After a water-based activity?
Well, Collie isn't short of options. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, water skiing, you name it, we've got it. Kayak or paddleboard along the Collie River at Minningup Pool, water ski at Lake Kepwari or swim and relax at Honeymoon Pool.

2. Collie Mural Trail
Walk through the Collie town centre and see how many murals you can find. Also, keep a lookout for the little hidden wambenger murals that aren't on the map!

3. The Wellington Dam 'Mega' Mural!
You can't miss the Largest Dam Mural in the world, now can you? Walk across the top of the dam wall and explore the national park. From the rapids to the trails, you sure will be busy!

4. Hit the trails
Need to burn off some energy, or after a leisurely afternoon walk? There are many trails suited to all ages and levels, from casual walks to exhilarating MTB trails.

5. Scenic Drive & Kaniyang Wiilman Suspension Bridge
If you're after a little afternoon drive, the Collie Scenic Drive is a perfect little loop that follows the Collie River with the spectacular suspension bridge that you can walk across and take in the area.

Term 3 is officially done! 😆

The hardest part of the school year is over, and I think we’re all in need of a well-deserved break before the silly season kicks off. 🫣

The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer, and our moods are lifting, which means it’s a pretty good time to get outside and enjoy a few days away. ⛺🌿

Whether you’re packing the caravan, pitching a tent, taking the kayaks out or getting the ski boats ready, there are plenty of ways to make the most of the warmer months around Collie.

From Lake Kepwari and Wellington National Park to the many camping spots throughout the region, there’s plenty of space to slow down, get outdoors and enjoy a few days in the bush.
