Telegraph Retreat is an award winning rural retreat in the Port Macquarie hinterland. We have two romantic and private studio cottages and a larger family style house, all with their own outdoor hot tub. A stay at Telegraph Retreat is the ideal way to relax and refresh the body and mind - come and do nothing or enjoy the wide range of nearby activities such as mountain-biking, kayaking and all that Port Macquarie has to offer.

Our Story

Telegraph Retreat Cottages are located at Telegraph Point, 15 minutes north of the coastal tourist town of Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of New South Wales, and just a four hour drive north of Sydney.

Three purpose built holiday homes, each with their own hot tub, are located in private settings on a nine acre hinterland property. This accommodation is perfect for a romantic couples’ getaway, family holiday or a short break escape in the country for group accommodation of up to 16 people. Cottages have log fires, full kitchens and barbecues. There is a heated outdoor pool, children's playground, forest trail walk and lots of cuddly animals. Reconnect with nature, stargaze and take time to reconnect at Telegraph Retreat.
