Day 12 - Albany - Emu Point - Day 2 - First thing today we took Buster for more beach walks and following the advice of our camp host in Wellstead checked out the chainsaw wood carvings - this guy is amazing.

We took buster up to the big lookout for a walk and then off to the harbour for lunch ! we definitely ate too much but it was soo good.

We still haven't sorted the Camera but hopefully tomorrow.

Buster enjoyed the drive around town with all the windows down pretending he is the king. (and keeping the beers safe)

We are leaving in the morning headed to another bush camp so se will update you all soon.

Day 11 - Albany - Emu Point -
We have decided to live the lux life and booked in at the Big-4 - its flash 😅

We got to town and headed to a cafe for a feed before started to rain so headed to the caravan park for the night.

Buster had some beach walks and met a little blue Staffy
he has been living his best life. (he is a bit exhausted from the farm stay. too many things for his little brain to process).

We decided to head out around dusk to the lookout - we went to the wrong one but its okay.

We are here for another full day tomorrow so we will go do some adventuring.

Day 10 !!! - Wellstead - We left the beach and headed inland to a farm stay, it was sooo nice, we cooked dinner around the fire and had a few beers, some great photos on the camera that we still can't get off. they will come soon.

On the way we found a little local lolly shop in Ravensthorpe, we took the chance to get some car snacks for the next few days and made our way onwards.

The most exciting part of the drive was the mine conveyor bridge. 😆

We have decided to go to Albany for a few days so we will have some reception and be able to get the page back up to date.

Fingers crossed we learn how to use the camera.

Night 9 - Munglinup Beach - We moved on to another beach camp for tonight.

120kms back to Esperance and 120kms out the other side today.

Esperance is closed on Sundays 🤣 we didn't hang around town much today but we did forget to a place or two in the haze of driving for 9 days.

The beach camp was nice the beach was lovely, buster bought back a piece of cuttle fish as a snack for the afternoon and stuck his head in some rock pools,

Overall a good day. Can't wait to stop somewhere for a few nights. PS sand smells good. 🐺

Night 8 - Alexander Bay - We started with a quick drive down to Esperance -1hr30- and had a quick look around town, too many people. we have some places that we will stop in at tomorrow.

I wasn't sure what to expect but we found a lookout for lunch with some pretty sick views.

We did the rest of our groceries and decided to head east down the coast for a beach stay, It was a tight fit to get into the sites but was worth it for the relaxing walks in the evening.

Buster was doing some quality control and even on the other side of the bite seawater still sucks. he has been on overdrive with the sniffing so he has been exhausted by the end of most days.

we are off to have some dinner and plan tomorrow out.

Night 7 - Noresman - There wasn't much to see or do today just walk the dogs and do allot of driving.

In saying that the 90 Mile straight sucks, bored out of my brain but hey we did it.

We did 550kms today and all that came out of it was some groceries at the strangest IGA I have ever been too in a town where every second house is boarded up.

We finished up about 15kms out of town in a rest area for a fire and some some homemade pizzas.

Phone reception has been fu***ng terrible so far. Optus has some ways to go in the outback 😕

Night 6 - Madura Pass

NO WIND 🥳 we had the best weather yet 27 degrees and sunny,

We stopped sooo many times today it took us 7 hours to do 300 ish kms 😅

We stopped in at all the lookouts today and some rest areas we will try and stay at on the way home.

We made it to the checkpoint and stopped in a the telegraph ruins in the sand dunes from the late 1800s

The Views don't even look real. Full screensaver vibes,

Buster has been a little demanding on cuddles today. apparently walking 5kms around with all the new smells makes him a little needy, he has had a dumb smile on his face for days.

We have no destination for tomorrow so we will Keep you posted

Night 5 - Nullarbor Roadhouse - Windy as f**k and we haven't even hit the Nulla yet 😬

First stop in was Fowlers Bay, A little disappointing as the massive winds had covered all the beaches in 2m deep seaweed but we still had a good look around, There was no seawater drank at this location.

We got to see how the van handles sand and dirt roads (about 70kms worth) - We were impressed, Until... We tried to do a load of washing and the rough roads broke up all the sediment in the tank and blocked all our filters & taps, all fixed now but it was not how the early day was supposed to play out.

Damo started to play around with the camera today so most of our photos aren't accessible to we get home - we think.

Just had dinner at the pub so off to bed, Looking forward to tomorrow for the Nulla.

Night 4 - Penong - We left the haystacks (there wasn't actually any hay) and ended up in Streaky Bay, such a nice little town.

Buster had his 2nd go at seawater, still not a fan, but he got a pillow from the op shop to help him stay comfy in the back so he was pretty happy with himself,

We got back on the road and stopped in at Smokey Bay to make some lunch at the boat ramp, the views were incredible.

Buster went for an adventure too, Yes he tried the seawater here too. - still s**t -

Ended the night in Penong, had some drinks with some fellow travellers and buster stood on a lizard.

Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Night 3 - Plans Have changed we have decided to detour to Venus Bay.
We took Buster dog to the beach for his first drink of sea water, He was not a fan 😅 but loved running up the sand and licking seaweed.
We headed up to a camp called Murphys Haystack, We loved it and Buster ran around the field like a 2yo with a Calippo. 10/10 for this Farm stay.

We don't know where we are going tomorrow but we will find out when we get there.
