New Grenadiers - Two more Grenadiers were added to our fleet last at the end of February. We collected them in Brisbane before meeting up with potential clients for some Free Drive Day activities on sand. We then headed home with excursions into the Coffs Harbour hinterland and Hunter Valley. We were lucky with the weather as we were a week ahead of TC Alfred and the deluge.

Would you enjoy a FREE day out driving off road? Here is Ken from Canberra enjoying a complimentary drive off-road in one of Australian 4x4 Expeditions new INEOS Grenadiers. Ken has been driving since 1964. In those days he was an Adventure Scout and often headed out camping.

Ken's first car was an old 50's Holden and he took it to Wombeyan Caves from Mittagong back in the days before a bridge was built over the Wollondilly River. Today Ken drives a motorhome mostly but he is leaving that on his farm to drive this Grenadier right across Australia in April. However until yesterday he had never been out driving a true 4x4 on trails impassable to normal traffic.

We will be crossing Australia at its widest in coming months. That is from Cape Byron in the east to Steep point in the west. The full Sydney to Perth journey will be 26 days long and cover 10.000km.
