Nestled between the rolling hills of the Huon valley you will find Eden Farm on the outskirts of Cygnet. Our 40 acre farm is a comfortable country hideaway for families, couples or small groups - your accommodation is a renovated Barn from c.1935 which has been lovingly restored to luxury accommodation for up to 9 guests plus room for additional cots. The farm, originally used for only the apple p

roduction, is now a lovely blend of fresh produce, orchards and paddocks with a variety of friendly farm animals. Eden Farm offers guests the chance to get up close and personal with the animals on our daily feeding tours in the late afternoons. At Eden Farm we make our own raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar and small batches of artisan cider. Guests will spot many native animals while strolling over the farm and might even glimpse our resident platypus in one of our dams. The farm is all about relaxing, getting back to nature and reconnecting with your family. Wake up to the fresh country air of Tasmania, it's country living at its best. Eden Farmstay more than just great accommodation. Give us a call next time you plan to holiday in Tasmania. We look forward to your visit.

First thing this morning, moving animals around so we could load up three of our goats for a little trip to Brooks Bay.

Spice, Bobby and Elizabeth are off on a working holiday for a few weeks, helping with some very enthusiastic w**d control 🌿🐐

As expected, Spice made sure everyone knew she was in charge during loading time 😅l

Morning chats with the Highland cows over the fence.
Goats following you around like old friends.
Ducks waddling past without a care in the world.
Alpacas quietly watching everything from afar.

Life on the farm has a gentle rhythm to it, and before long you find yourself falling into step with it too.

Not every getaway needs an itinerary.

Sometimes you just need a place where mornings begin slowly, the kettle whistles in a warm kitchen, and the only real decision is whether to wander the paddocks, read by the fire, or stay in bed a little longer listening to the rain on the roof.

Out here, the days feel softer.
The nights darker.
And somehow, time stretches in the best possible way.

If you’ve been craving quiet, space, and a little breathing room, The Barn is waiting. ✨

Some mornings you wake up with a little spring in your step, ready to embrace the weekend… and today feels like one of those days.

The sun is shining, I’m pottering around the house, baking a few Dutch treats, and before long we’ll be heading off for lunch with friends. Honestly, what more could a girl ask for?

Driving down to Kingston early this morning, dipping in and out of the fog, the valley felt wrapped in silence.
At one point a hawk flew low beside my car, almost as if it was there to say hello.

Even after 16 years of living here, mornings like this still leave me in awe of the place we call home.
