Visit Darlington Point

Visit Darlington Point Darlington Point was first established as a river crossing town with pastoral leases.

From 1850 Paddle steamers transported produce, with a redgum wharf being built in 1881. Old wharf pylons can still be seen 200 metres upstream from the caravan park.

🔨 Toganmain Working Bee - 4th to 9th June 🔨

We’re calling for volunteers to join us at Toganmain for our next working bee as preparations continue for another big season at the woolshed.

A major focus this time will be removing sheep manure from beneath sections of the shed that are scheduled for restumping shortly — an important step in the ongoing conservation of the precinct. We’ll also be continuing works in the yards as we prepare for our Cocktails in the Yard event in September.

We’re hoping to have machinery available to assist with the manure removal, but if it doesn’t arrive in time we’ll simply tackle what we can together.

Whether you can spare a day or several days, every helping hand makes a real difference.

To let us know you’re coming, please visit:

We’d love to see you at Toganmain.

New volunteers welcome - register here first:

If you're looking for a weekend the whole family will talk about for months, Darlington Point has something special coming up — and the perfect base from which to enjoy it.

Saturday 23rd May, the Punt Hotel is hosting Chrome on the Bidgee 2026, a Show 'n Shine event right here. Classic cars, good people, live music and the kind of country charm that makes you slow down and breathe it all in. It's a brilliant excuse to pack up the family and head out for a proper regional getaway.

And while you're here, there's so much more to love about this little corner of the Riverina. Spend a morning at Altina Wildlife Park — the kids will absolutely love getting up close with Australian wildlife. Pop into the Whitton Malt House for something local and delicious. Or simply find your favourite spot on the Murrumbidgee and drop a line in.

When it's time to come home for the evening, your cosy self-contained cabin at Darlington Point Accommodation Village is waiting. We have one bedroom or three bedroom cabins for families of all sizes, sleeping up to 8 guests, fully equipped with everything you need to feel right at home — kitchen, linen, air con, BBQ, fire pit, and free WiFi.

It's the kind of weekend that feels easy, unhurried, and genuinely good for the soul. We'd love to have you stay. Head to darlingtonpointav.com.au or ring us on 0447 639 442 to book your spot.
