For Begginners to experienced anglers, our crew with many years of experience will take you to some of the best fishing locations off the Darwin coast. We provide morning and afternoon tea, smorgasboard lunch , soft drinks, water, rods and reels, bait, tackle, ice and eskys for the day.

Golden Snapper Recovery - business as usual just won't do

Last week AFANT lodged our submission on Golden Snapper — calling for a better recovery plan. One that actually fixes the problems and assumptions that have seen stock concerns around Darwin drag on for decades.

Our priorities for action are clear:

👉 Close the knowledge gaps
👉 Fix data and monitoring
👉 Work with fishers as partners in the solutions, not just regulate them
👉 Apply staged reforms and innovation

We’ve also welcomed the NT Government’s Budget commitments:
✔️ $2.5M for a Golden Snapper Recovery Plan
✔️ $4M for fisheries compliance

Now our focus is on working with Government to get this right and the commitments invested meaningfully.

We need practical policy to; recover stocks, restore trust, strengthen stewardship, and support the fishing economy.
