Collard version is full custom. Extra buttons like a farmers half button shirt, HUGE button up pockets that are big enough for any phone, fly box and even a VB stubby.

Footy shorts of course have deep zip pockets.

Getting some sight casting practice in before flats season in Bynoe.
Back to Christmas Island (not the red crab one) again this week just to double check I’m on the right track.
Was good to see Staunch Crab, Gabrielle Brady and on the Brisbane flight heading over to AFTA to represent the top end.

With fuel prices through the roof and increasing pressure on operators to reduce emissions…

We’ve made a big decision.

From July 2026, Barefoot Fishing Safaris will officially transition into a fully guided CBD EARTHING EXPERIENCE 🌱

That’s right — no boats, no fuel, no fishing.

Instead, we’ll be running small-group, high-end “grounding sessions” right in the heart of Darwin.

Reconnect with yourself (and the earth) through:
• Barefoot walking sessions along the Darwin Waterfront lawns
• Guided breathwork overlooking the carpark
• Mindful coffee sipping (oat milk only)
• Deep listening to distant outboard motors

After a full review, we’ve realised the future of adventure tourism isn’t chasing barra…

…it’s standing still, drinking a $9 latte, and feeling your feet touch council-maintained grass.

We’re proud to be launching as a zero-fuel, zero-fish, carbon-negative experience.

Early trials have been promising, although one participant asked when we were getting on the boat and hasn’t been seen since.

Spots are extremely limited.
