For a winter- and heart-warming activity this long weekend, don’t miss seeing the Spa Quilters Guild of Daylesford’s Quilt Show at St Peter's Catholic Church. Entry is by gold coin donation, and the proceeds from this and a raffle will go towards making quilts for foster children, who often arrive at a home with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. These quilts provide comfort and warmth, and symbolise hope. Show your support this weekend. The show will be open Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 12 noon to 4 pm. ❤️

Macedon Ranges visual artist Chris 'Roy' Taylor has a way of capturing the magic of our townships in his vintage posters, and this one of Creswick is no exception! Mrs Leah Northcott (the Mayor's wife) and a committee of local women raised the funds for the construction of a bandstand in the centre of town, the foundation stone for which was laid in 1897. This gorgeous design is exclusive to our visitor information centre in Creswick, and is available as a range of souvenirs (including framed and unframed posters). ❤️

It's the dawn of a new era of entertainment in Hepburn Shire with the opening of the fabulous new volunteer-led and run Phoenix Cinema. 🎬🎞️🍿🎥

Come and immerse yourself in the Art Deco splendour of this incredible community achievement. The audio visual offering is state-of-the-art, and there are four screenings a day, Thursday to Monday. This weekend's program includes Devil Wears Prada 2! ❤️

We love showcasing the work of local creatives at the Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre, and that includes authors. 📚 Drop in and pick up a copy of ' gorgeous new children's book, Grumps and the Green Fishing Rod.

It's fun making fishing rods from tree branches and binder twine. But when James goes on a real fishing trip with his grandfather he learns about so much more than how to catch a fish. Grumps and the Green Fishing Rod carries the stories of four generations through simple, traditional narration and stunning photographs taken in a beautiful bush setting. 🎣❤️

Making sure visitors have a fabulous time in is the number one priority for staff and volunteers who work across our visitor information centres in Daylesford, Creswick, Trentham, and Clunes. And as National Volunteer Week draws to a close, we wanted to acknowledge the work of our wonderful team at Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre. Some volunteers have been been with us for many years, others just a few months. Everyone brings something special to the mix, and we appreciate their efforts week in, week out. Drop in for a chat next time you're visiting our beautiful part of the world! ❤️

It's National Volunteer Week (18–24 May) and we were able to get together with many of our team of volunteers at Creswick Visitor Information Centre to mark the week with a morning tea at Creswick Woollen Mills. We're so appreciative of all our 80+ volunteers across Hepburn Shire who give their time at our visitor information centres in Daylesford, Creswick, Trentham, and Clunes. Thank you all!

It's National Volunteer Week (18–24 May) and we wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank our team of 80+ volunteers who give their time at our visitor information centres in Daylesford, Creswick, Trentham, and Clunes. Tourism plays an important role in the economic prosperity of Hepburn Shire, and our volunteers go out of their way to ensure visitors have the best experience possible. We couldn't run our service without them.

Daylesford Town Hall will shine red this week to celebrate all the volunteers who help make our community stronger. It's a small gesture to say thank you.
