Experience the rich sound of the historic 1860 J. W. Walker pipe organ, with performances by local artists in one of Deloraine's most beautiful heritage buildings.

Calling all poets, storytellers, spoken word performers and poetry lovers!

Join us at the Empire Hotel, Deloraine for the Deloraine Heat of the Tasmanian Poetry Slam, presented by Sundee Poetree and the Tasmanian Poetry Festival.

Tasmanian poets are invited to perform an original poem in under two minutes for the chance to advance to the Tasmanian Final in Hobart and potentially compete in the Australian Poetry Slam National Final at the Sydney Opera House.
