Howling Husky Park is a small Australian family-owned adventure business offering genuine sled dog adventures from June through to October. We offer sled dog tours at Mt Baw Baw, Mt Hotham & Dinner Plain Alpine Village during the declared snow season. Howling Huskys is proud to offer dryland sledding training for dog owners who would like to get into the sport (your dog doesn't have to be a husky

to pull!) and dog safety lectures for schools and youth groups. We are also offer unique and exciting entrances for weddings, school formals, parades, expos and more.

Behind every harness is a dog we’ve committed to for LIFE 🐺❤️

People sometimes see a sled dog tour price and think “that’s expensive”… but what many don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes to make this lifestyle possible for our dogs year-round.

This photo/video shows just some of our harnesses organised in size order for the team. Each harness costs $90, and with 93 sled dogs, replacing them all individually would cost over $8,300!!

And harnesses are just ONE small part of it.

🐾 93 sled dogs to feed
🐾 20 retired dogs who no longer work but still remain part of our family forever
🐾 Around $90,000 a year on kibble alone
🐾 Vet bills, medications, vaccinations, desexing, worming & flea prevention
🐾 Kennels, fencing, leads, straw, enrichment, transport, maintenance and daily care.

What many people don’t realise is that our sled dog season is also seasonal.

If we’re lucky, we operate from June until the end of September, and that income has to help support our dogs all year round.

We will always keep our retired dogs. They are not disposable once they stop working. This is their forever home.

So when you support a tour, share our posts, recommend us to friends, or simply cheer us on… you are directly helping us continue caring for these incredible dogs every single day. ❤️

Not 1 mountain… not 2… but 3 ❄️🐺

Seeing this all come together honestly feels surreal. From rescue dogs to working teams, years of hard work, rebuilding, training, and dreaming have led to this moment.
