When staying at The Pilgrimage Village in Hue, you can expect a peaceful, resort style hotel surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The best way to explore Huế? On the back of a scooter! 🛵🇻🇳
We spent the day weaving through the city and surrounding countryside, visiting the magnificent Imperial Citadel, peaceful pagodas and some beautiful hidden corners along the way.
A scooter tour is such a fun experience for travellers—you can cover more ground than you would on foot, travel through smaller local streets and stop at places you may never discover on your own. With an experienced local driver taking care of the road, you can simply sit back and enjoy the scenery, culture and refreshing breeze!
A wonderful way to experience the history, beauty and everyday life of Huế. 💛

We joined Wide Eyed Tours for a fantastic cooking experience at Red Bridge Cooking School, learning how to prepare fresh and flavoursome Vietnamese dishes—and, of course, enjoying every bite afterwards!
Such a fun, hands-on way to experience the local culture, discover new flavours and bring a little taste of Vietnam home with us. 🌿🥢

Today we visited Vinh Moc Tunnels, built during the Vietnam War to shelter local families from heavy bombing. Entire communities lived underground here, complete with kitchens, meeting rooms and even a maternity ward—an incredible reminder of their courage and resilience 🇻🇳 Wide Eyed Tour

This year marks 112 years since O.L. Milling & Co. was established in 1914 at Dunedoo, beginning a long and proud history of agency businesses associated with the Milling name across Central Western NSW. 🎈

Over the last 4 generations, a number of businesses have grown from those early foundations, spanning stock and station agencies, real estate, property management and Travel, each forming part of the broader Milling story.

At Peter Milling & Company, we are proud to be one of the businesses carrying that history forward today, continuing to serve our clients across livestock sales, rural & residential real estate, property management and travel .

While much has changed since 1914, the importance of strong relationships, local knowledge and trusted service remains just as relevant today. We are proud of our connection to this history and grateful to the clients, staff, families and communities who have supported the various Milling agencies and businesses throughout the past 112 years.

What an adventure in Phong Nha! 🇻🇳
We travelled overnight aboard the Lotus Train, waking to beautiful views of rural Vietnam before arriving in Phong Nha.
After settling into the gorgeous Phong Nha Farmstay, it was time to explore! We jumped on the back of scooters and rode through the incredible countryside to the caves.
There were magnificent underground chambers, a very messy mud bath!
Definitely one of those unforgettable travel days filled with plenty of laughs, amazing scenery and experiences completely outside my comfort zone! 💛
