Did you know there is a Funduro coming soon.

On Saturday, March 26 Ride Dungog will be co-hosting a Funduro at the Dungog Common. The timing will commence at 1pm and conclude at 4:30pm. From Under 7's through to Grand Masters (50+) this will be a super-inclusive, fun and social event.

Registration will open on Monday 28th, but in the meantime, save the date!

Did you know that there will be some changes to the local train services.
Attention passengers:
From Monday 10th January, all NSW TrainLink local rail services between Sydney, Newcastle, Maitland and Dungog will be operating to a Sunday-based timetable only. This temporary alteration will remain in effect for 7 days/week over an unspecified period of time. The three daily service times out of Dungog will be as follows:
7.49am โ€“ train departure time โ€“ 7 days/week
3.30pm โ€“ train departure time โ€“ 7 days/week
7.37pm โ€“ train departure time โ€“ 7 days/week
The above services and service times may also be subject to alteration or cancellation at little or no notice. In some cases, bus replacements โ€“ between Dungog and Maitland โ€“ may be provided.

At this stage, normal North Coast XPT services through Dungog will continue to be operate to their regular 7 day/week timetable. However, some XPT service cancellations, alterations and/or bus replacements may still apply in various instances.

For further details, please contact 131500 for local services, and 132232 for XPT service arrangements. You may also Google search for the Trip Planner app for the latest information.
Customers are advised to plan ahead and to make allowance for possible changes. We will notify our passengers as there are any further developments.

๐ŸŽ…Our Christmas and New Year Operations ๐ŸŽ… //

๐ŸŽ„Our Administration Centre, phone coverage and Service NSW will close at 12.30pm on Friday 24 December 2021, and will reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

๐ŸŽ„Our Visit Dungog Visitors Information Centre (VIC) will close at 12.30pm on Friday 24 December 2021 and will reopen again on Monday 27 December 2021. The VIC will also be closed on New Yearโ€™s Day, Saturday 1 January 2022.

๐ŸŽ„Our Dungog Waste Management Facility will be closed on Christmas Day and New Yearโ€™s Day. Waste collections will not change over the holiday period.

๐ŸŽ„Our Depot will be closed to the public from 4.30pm on Thursday 23 December 2021, and will reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

๐ŸŽ„There will be a reduced number of outdoor staff working throughout the holiday period to provide essential services for our community.

Travel OZ is set to feature Dungog Shire.

Exciting news: 7TWO's 'Travel Oz' program is set to feature an impressive tourism segment on our very own Dungog Shire... and you can watch it before the rest of the country at the James Theatre Dungog next week!

Filmmaker Greg Grainger will be in town to screen this wonderful feature on Dungog's many attractions, with a special guest performance from local duo The De Factos.

Date: Thursday 16 December 2021.

Time: 5.45pm for a 6pm start.

Venue: James Theatre Dungog.

Cost: FREE!

A number of local partners were involved in sponsoring this project, including Dungog Regional Tourism, council's Visit Dungog Visitors Information Centre, and the Dungog District Chamber of Commerce.

Can't attend? Make sure you watch the show live on Saturday 18 December at 8.30am, on 7TWO.
