Just in case you need reminding how perfect the southwest's beaches are we thought we'd leave this right here...

This pristine stretch of sand located at the upper end of the Margaret River region is Bunker Bay, and it's just begging for some fresh footprints!

Ahh to be Rae Marie Threnoworth in this very moment is just what the doctor ordered. Pure bliss. πŸ˜πŸ’™

Life really is a beach in Dunsborough. The trendy little town located on Geographe Bay is a gateway to some of the Margaret River region's finest stretches of sand.

Summer days usually feature a mix of sunrise strolls along the tidal flats, mid morning dips at Castle Bay, afternoon games of beach volleyball at Meelup and of course romantic walks into the sunset at Quindalup watching last light illuminate the yachts peacefully at anchor.

The best things in life really are free. 😎

We've just wrapped up an incredible visiting some truly spectacular spots in the Margaret River region. Check out our Stories for some behind the scenes action, and stay tuned in coming days and weeks for more show-stopping photos like this one by πŸ“Έ Scott Slawinski Base Imagery at Castle Rock.

This quiet bay is just a few minutes from Dunsborough, on the Meelup-Eagle Bay Road. The coastline is dotted with pristine beaches, and our crew enjoyed a beach BBQ at Meelup prepared by Chef Evan Hayter of Arimia Estate. They had a swim then sailed to Castle Rock with Sailing Charters WA. Zak Hasleby and Dylan Dehaas climbed Castle Rock to take in the view.

Our very first started today... some seriously talented photographers have come to the region to enjoy the best food, wine, craft beer and beaches, of course. And we've scored some seriously beautiful weather - it's 35 degrees! β˜€οΈ

First stop? The incredible aquamarine waters of Geographe Bay for lunch and a swim. Meelup, Point Piquet, Eagle Bay and the beautiful rocky coastal tracks linking the bays. πŸ’¦

Rush hour in Eagle Bay 🀩 πŸ’¦
When Lonely Planet named the Margaret River region the top Asia Pacific destination they said β€œTake one look at Meelup beach and you’ll wonder where it’s been all your life."

This is Eagle Bay, the next beach along from Meelup, also with β€œocean the hue of a Bombay Sapphire bottle." Yes, it's often this quiet. And yes, the water is this beautiful! If you're looking to escape for some private beach time, Eagle Bay near Dunsborough could be just the ticket πŸ’™

Some of the most fascinating landscapes in the Margaret River region are found upriver, deep within the heart of the land. This "tree graveyard" photographed by is located near the Barrett St Weir behind the town of Margaret River where the walk trails wind their way through the beautiful Australian bushland. It's the perfect place to take a peaceful break from your busy holiday schedule and listen to the soundtrack of native birds and frogs echoing across the water. πŸŒ±πŸƒπŸŒΏ

Walking the length of the Busselton Jetty is certainly an adventure in itself however walking on the seafloor UNDERNEATH the jetty is an absolute must do experience! Busselton Jetty Undersea Walk is the first of its kind in Australia and one of the first seabed walks in the world to operate without a compressor or air hoses. Instead you wear a dive helmet and self-contained backpack. So you are free at the bottom of the sea, truly able to experience the underwater world for yourself. It's an amazing, eerie, wonder-filled place that just about anyone aged 12+ can come and experience for themselves! πŸ πŸ™πŸš

3,300 swimmers are set to do the Busselton Jetty Swim next February.

The historic jetty extends 1.81km into Geographe Bay, so if they each complete the 3.62km swim, that's a whopping 11,946 kilometres total! Just imagine many recovery pints of beer and bowls of pasta that must be! 🍻
