Orcas don’t have a standard wake-up time as their sleep patterns differ from land mammals. They are uni-hemispheric sleepers, which means one side of their brain rests while the other remains alert.

Our passengers Wilna and Bert de Wilde shared with us a video of their whale watching tour from Dunsborough yesterday. They were overwhelmed with joy at such a happy sight as this juvenile humpback whale celebrated in the waters of Geographe Bay!

There is only two weeks of the Dunsborough Whale Watching season left. Visit with our mother ship the Alison Maree a luxurious 23 metre catamaran from Dunsborough's Professional Fisherman's Boat Ramp daily at 10am and 2pm for a 2-3 hour tour. We are still sighting humpback whales and their calves and the worlds largest animal the blue whale is in season now. Visit with us before its too late to see these incredible mammals!
